LocalMommy.com is a newborn website as of 8/8/2008. LocalMommy still has some “techie” things to complete in the backround of the site. Getting the forum up and bug free is a big one that will be working soon, but for now we will start with the Blog. The first post was August 22th, 2008. Feel free to register/login and leave a comment, also bookmark this site and pass the word to all the mommys you know. This site will be the best resource on the web for all mothers new and old to ask questions and pass on the experience of those that had to learn the hard way. Children, husbands, and life as we all know, do not come with an instruction manual and there are so many mysteries that come along with them. Here we can all help each other find those so hard to find answers in one spot from the people that know best…Moms.
This site will not only be about parenting tips, but will have mommy medical advice, where the best schools, doctors, daycare etc. are, where the best place to buy diapers or things on sale, because Local Mommy is a support group of mothers in your area as well as national. You can even tell each other the best times to go to the park, pool, beach etc… With millions of us mothers sharing our information we can make one of the hardest jobs on the planet so much easier.
We can even just log on and just gossip or vent our frustrations to other people who will listen and understand like only a mother can do. You might even meet your best friend here and have someone to go have coffee with, who knows. This is a free site of course and we will work diligently to make LocalMommy the best online source for Moms.
