Busy Life

20th November, 2008 - Posted by LocalMommy -

I am sure that everyone like me is extremely busy. Life is very fast-paced and busy. Sometimes when I wake in the morning to do my husband’s coffee and get stuff ready for him it is 5:30 in the morning and the next thing I know it is noon. The day’s go by so quickly. It seems that they go by faster in the winter then in the summer. Maybe it is the daylight savings time. My days are very busy. They are filled with children and chores. I definitely am a multi-tasker. I will have laundry going and all kinds of other stuff. Sometimes after the supper is made and everything is done or at least I think that everything is done I am totally wiped out. Being a stay at home mom is a hard job. Being the office manager, cook, housekeeper, babysitter for grandchildren full time, chauffeur keeps you very busy and I believe that being a stay at home mom is just a hard as having a full-time job somewhere. Sometimes I think that maybe it is even harder to be a stay at home mom. A lot of times during the hustle and bustle of my day I forget to stop and smell the roses so to speak. I forget to take time for me and just relax. But like all moms everywhere in the world finding time to relax is often very few and far between. I love my life it is beautiful and busy and often stressful but I wouldn’t have it any other way. At night when my son goes to sleep I try to find the time to relax and unwind before having to get back up and start the day again. I would love to know if any stay at home moms have any tricks of the trade so to speak f for taking that relaxation time. Sometimes it can be anywhere from taking a hot bath and lighting a candle. To grabbing a hot cup of tea or cocoa and just have 5 minutes to breath. That 5 minutes that you take can make a huge difference in the day of a busy mom. When I look at my son and watch him grow and play and learn new things it makes my busy life worth every single second. Being a mom is the greatest gift in the world. My advice to mom’s everywhere is take that 5 minutes and relax and regroup. Remember that in the craziness of life there is beauty and great memories.

Until Next Time,
