Parenting is the toughest job you can do and there are many ways to do things but there are a few fundamental things that are tried and true that every parent realizes do work. I believe being consistent is a huge part of effective parenting. Children need consistency so they know what to expect and when to expect it. This consistency creates security and who doesn’t want to feel secure and safe even adults want that. Being consistent covers everything from affection to discipline. Hugs, kisses, smiles and giggles are so important and you can never give out to many. Behaviors good and bad have consequences and rules are they are there to guide and keep you safe. These things are simple for kids to understand and if we can stick to it; these things are great tools for parents.
Let us share our ideas about parenting together.
